(3/18/2015) As the 2014-1015 season comes to an end, several Clearwater Christian College players received recognition for their outstanding play. On the men's side, Eddie Moralobo and Kamani Hodges were recognized with honors at the NCCAA D2 South Region Awards Banquet held at Piedmont University in Raleigh, North Carolina. Moralobo, a sophomore point guard from Oakland, Ca, and local graduate from Indian Rocks Christian School, was selected by the South Region Coaches for the First Team All-Region. In all NCCAA D2 schools, Eddie was fourth in NCCAA D2 in scoring (17.4 ppg) and assists (4.7 apg), finished sixth in field goal percentage and seventh in steals. He was the only Cougar to play in all 28 games of the season.

Hodges, a redshirt freshman shooting guard-small forward from Nashville, TN, was honored as one of the top five freshman players for the region. His selection to the All-Freshman Team is the second year in a row that a Cougar player received this honor. Hodges averaged 10 points per game, seventh in South Region in steals per game, and ninth in field goal percentage (69.7%).

Hallie Linville
For the Lady Cougars, three players were recognized. After a phenomenal season as a sophomore, Hallie Linville has received several accolades. She was named to the 1st team All Region, as well as 2nd team All American. She had four double-double's this year and averaged per game 19.5 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 2.5 assists. For the season, she shot 85% from the free throw line. Coach Nat says, "Hallie has been a joy and a blessing to coach and is one of the hardest workers we have. I look forward to seeing what work she puts in this summer and ready to see her game at the next level as just a junior."

After missing numerous games due to a stress fracture in her ankle, Hanna "KK" Glaze made the 2nd team All Region for the Lady Cougars. Per game, Hanna averaged 10.7 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.9 assists. Coach Nat believes that "KK is the heart and soul of this team. Liz Jenkins
After healing fully from her stress fracture, I know that she will get back on the court and prepare herself for an even better season next year."

Finally, Liz Jenkins received an honorable mention for the All Region Team. As only a sophomore, Liz came in with a high basketball IQ and helped lead these players in the game of basketball. She will make a great coach someday as she is constantly coaching while on the floor. Liz ended the season averaging 9.7 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game. Coach Nat says, "Liz was a joy to coach and you can see the 'coaches' mentality' coming out of her while on the court. I look forward to seeing what she brings to the team next year as a junior."
