Coach Rossiter Sharing Christ
The 2015 Cougar baseball team is coming off an incredible weekend after participating in the Get in the Game event sponsored by Camp Anderson in Old Town, Florida. Camp Anderson is a Christian camp whose goal is to evangelize young people and train them to be productive servants of the local church and their local community. On Saturday morning, January 10, the Clearwater baseball team conducted the camp by instructing over 150 boys and girls between the ages of 9 and 16 on the finer points of the game. The event concluded three hours later with a picnic for campers and their family members, and a gospel presentation by Coach Rossiter. Several accepted Christ as their Savior as a result of these efforts.

Small Group Session
There are multiple blessings that came out of this activity. First, the CCC baseball team was able to share their gifts and talents in a meaningful way with other young people. Second, they were able to partner with a Christian ministry in a unique manner for the cause of Christ. Third, the team was able to assist an alumnus, Joshua Carter ('09), in his ministry as the camp's worship leader. Fourth, young people came to Christ as a result of their ministry. And finally, this event has ignited the passion of the baseball team for what Christ can do through them this season.
